Protocole Autonomy
Synthetique Terrarium – Protocole Autonomy is a series of works that depicts humanity and nature as multidimensional entities born from the fusion of uncertain reality and digital virtuality. This series explores how these entities simultaneously possess contradictory characteristics — they are both controlled and autonomous, predictable and uncertain.
Information arising from the randomness and uncertainty inherent to these entities is continuously converted into coded data through digital algorithms, then computed and recycled within feedback loops. The randomness and uncertainty of humans and nature form the core of these data flows. Through their fusion with digital virtuality, the entities represented in the work exist within a distorted space-time, transcending physical boundaries; thus, randomness is amplified even as it becomes increasingly subjected to precise algorithmic control.
In this way, the series reconfigures humanity and nature in the digital age as complex, layered entities, visualizing a new ecosystem where technology and reality, control and autonomy, predictability and uncertainty intersect.
